LUMIX DMC-FS6

In iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode, 4 detection functions work automatically and simultaneously to optimize your settings, making it easier than ever to take beautiful photos every time. The iA Mode includes MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) to detect hand-shake, Intelligent ISO Control to detect subject movement, Face Detection AF/AE to detect faces in the frame and remove unwanted red-eye, and Intelligent Scene Selector to detect scene conditions and automatically select the optimal scene. A dedicated button is available to quickly switch the camera back to iA Mode so you could focus on framing your shots without having to worry about camera settings.

The DMC-FS6 features a 33-132mm f/2.8-5.9 LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens. Inherits both the superb performance and compact size from the LEICA ELMARIT lens, DMC-FS6's LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT is small and lightweight yet achieves the fine rendering for which Leica lenses are so well known. This bright, low-distortion lens results in a compact, easy-to-carry camera that delivers beautiful pictures. Equipped with a 4x optical zoom lens (35mm film camera equivalent: 33-132mm) that captures beautiful shots of people or landscapes with 8.1-megapixel full resolution.

With the long battery life of DMC-FS6, you no longer need to worry about your camera running dry during shooting. The DMC-FS6 can deliver 400 images per battery charge, easily fulfilling your needs for a full day of shooting.

The DMC-FS6 hosts a 2.5-inch 230,000 dot high resolution LCD. It features the Intelligent LCD function. Under bright sunlight, the Auto Power LCD function increases the backlight brightness in 9 steps according to the ambient light intensity. In dimly lit locations, it adjusts the frame rate of live images in 2 steps according to the ambient darkness. At the highest of these 11 steps, the LCD backlight becomes approx. 1.4 times brighter than normal. This makes both shooting and viewing photos easier and more convenient.
