Responsibilities

• Plan and execute software development schedule
• Strong collaboration and co-ordination with Panasonic Japan and including external vendors on project planning and execution and resolving technical related issues
• Perform design review on technical issues related to source code programming
• Resolve technical issues related to embedded systems

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 3 to 4 years’ experience in software development using ‘C’/Assembly language
• Good understanding and work experience with micro-controllers/micro-processors/DSPs
• Experience in the following is an added advantage:
  a) Real-time OS and software development
  b) Firmware development quality control system
  c) Knowledge in file system such as ISP9660, UDF, AVI, FAT16
  d) Knowledge in writing device driver such as DVD, HDD, SD-Memory card, wireless, OPU servo, etc
• Experienced engineers with experience in managing a team of engineers may be accepted for a Senior Position
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent.
• Able to speak Japanese will be an added advantage.
